Analytical Chemistry at the XXVII International Conference “Modern Problems of Chemistry”
On May 13–15, 2026, the Faculty of Chemistry of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv hosted the XXVII International Conference of Students, Postgraduate Students and Young Scientists “Modern Problems of Chemistry” in an offline format.
The analytical section featured a wide range of studies reflecting current trends in analytical chemistry. The presentations covered electrochemical and spectrophotometric methods for the determination of inorganic and organic analytes, including nitrites, oxalates, surfactants, proline, curcumin and amygdalin. Considerable attention was also paid to chromatographic approaches, including ion, gas, high-performance liquid and chiral chromatography, as well as to the validation of methods for the analysis of food, pharmaceutical and plant products.
Particular interest was drawn to studies focused on the development of modified electrodes, biosensing approaches, sorption nanocomposites, chiral stationary phases and the application of mathematical modelling to optimize analytical methods. Research related to the monitoring of technogenic environmental impact was also presented.
The analytical section demonstrated the high scientific level of young researchers and the relevance of their work to addressing challenges in quality control, environmental monitoring, and pharmaceutical and food analysis.
