8th
Analytical Russian-German-Ukrainian Symposium
Hamburg, 31st
Aug – 5th
Sept 2003
-
In Memory of Prof. J. G. Yudelevich –
It
is the primary goal of the symposium to provide a platform especially for young
analytical scientists (students, PhD students, postdocs) from Russia and the
Ukraine to meet colleagues from Western Europe, mainly from Germany.
This conference offers the chance to learn from each other about scientific
activities and mutual skills, modern analytical methods and instrumentation in
various applications, to discuss and solve current analytical problems and to
establish personal contacts, partnerships and new relationships.
ARGUS was
initiated and first organized by Prof. Josif G. Yudelevich and his coworkers in
1992 and was held at the Academy of Sciences in Novosibirsk-Akademgorodok.
Subsequent symposia took place in Hirschegg (1993), Klimentovo (1994), Sovrino
(1996), Düsseldorf (1997), Odessa (1999) and Baikalsk (2001).
The 8th
symposium in this series continues the more than 10 year tradition of
conferences on Analytical Chemistry held alternately in Russia, Germany and
Ukraine in honour of Prof. Yudelevich, who died in 1993. ARGUS 2003 is organised
by: GKSS Research Centre, Geesthacht, Germany.
Invited
lecturers
Prod. Dr. A. Golloch, University of Duisburg, Germany
Dr. N. Bings, University of Hamburg, Germany
Dr. P. Hoffmann, TU Darmstadt, Germany
Dr. A. Grigorjevich Revenko, Russia
Dr. L. P. Eksperidova, Ukraine
More than 30 young scientists from Russia, the Ukraine and western Europe with
