SUMMARY

Kobylinska N.G. Conductometry method for the analysis of functional layer of organosilicas with the immobilized groups of acid and basic nature – Manuskript.

The thesis for Candidate of Science degree in speciality 02.00.02. – Analytical chemistry. – Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University. – Kyiv, 2009.
Dissertation is devoted application of method of conductometry for research of composition of functional layer of silicas with the covalently grafted protolytic-active groups: basic – amino-, and ethylenediamino groups, and also acid - pyridinecarboxylic, aminodiacetic, methylaminophosphonic and alkylsulfogroups. It was shown that conductometry a enables to determine the energetic heterogeneity of the immobilized layer, the concentration of functional groups on the surface of organosilicas, the constants of protonation and maximum of sorption capacity to the ion of copper(II).
Chemical-analytical descriptions of the developed methods of conductometry determination of concentration of grafting NH2-groups are presented direct and back titration of organosilica. The convenience of approach is shown to the study of distrib-uting of functional groups on surface mono- and bifunctional ordered mesoporous organosilicas.
It was found that pH-metry was mainly applicable to the determination of strongly acid groups of organosilicas, whereas conductometric titration can be applied to the determination for all types of test materials.

Key words: analysis, functional layer, concentration of grafting groups, conductome-try, šĶ-metry, silica, adsorption, adsorbent, protonation constants.
