Synthesis and properties of silicas with covalently fixed groups (2001) Ukrainskij Khimicheskij Zhurnal, 67 (1-2), pp. 94-98.
The scheme for preparation and optimal conditions for synthesis of complexing chemically modified silicas with covalently bonded bis-(diethyl)- and bis-(dibutyl-phosphothiotriamides were proposed. Chemical nature of the obtained materials was proved with the multielement chemical analysis and NMR-spectroscopy. The composition of bound layer and acid-base equilibrium constants were determined. The adsorption properties of the modified silicas were investigated towards Pb, Zn, Hg, Cu, Ni, Fe(II), and Fe(III) ions.
