XVIIIth Pushchino Readings in photosynthesis and all-Russia Conference
"Photosynthetic transformation of the energy of light" will take place in
the Institute of Basic Biological Problems RAS (Pushchino, Moscow region) on
June 19 - 23, 2005. Official language of the conference is Russian. Scientific
programme will cover the following areas of research:
- photosynthetic
reaction centers
- photosynthetic water oxidation
- evolutionary aspects
of the primary reactions of photosynthesis
- modelling of the reaction
center functions
- theoretical aspects of photoinduced electron transfer
reactions
- photosystem II and stress
- biogenesis, genetic engineering,
chemical modification of reaction centers
- renewable energy sources.
